The state introduced the world to it’s diverse cuisine, with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients from places like Tanaka Farms Irvine which is so fun to visit.

California produces more than 80% of the United States’ fresh oranges. Raisins are big there too though with all the wineries and of course those are in fact dried grapes. There are many apple orchards too as well as cherry farms and nuts include almonds and pecans.
Boasting an array of stunning National parks, including Yosemite National Park, Joshua Tree, giant Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon, and Redwood National and State Parks. These are renowned for their natural beauty, hiking trails, and iconic landmarks. Perfect for nature lovers covered in some of the tallest trees.
Napa Valley and Sonoma County are world famous wine country regions known for producing high quality glasses, particularly Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. On a larger scale than What Idaho is Known For, it’s a hub for technological innovation and research. Besides Silicon Valley, there are several research institutions, such as Stanford University and University of California systems.
With companies like SpaceX, Boeing, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory headquartered or operating in the state there are many jobs available in these industries. Get out of the city though and you’ll find rugged coastlines of Big Sur or the Mojave Desert.

You might think the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island or theme parks like our many Disneyland for free visits, but there is so much more. One of the most ethnically and culturally diverse states in the U.S. Its cities are melting pots of different cultures and which means great food everywhere you visit.
