I’m not much for homemade anything, except every once and a while we get in the mood to cook from scratch and off we go. This easy homemade frozen yogurt recipe doesn’t take too long to put together and you can add just about any goodies you like to satisfy your sweet tooth too! Check out this chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt made the other day. (originally published 6/16)

How to Make Frozen Yogurt

Like I said, I don’t do difficult. Homemade doesn’t always mean hours and hours in the kitchen though and it’s even easier if you have a countertop mixer (best gift I ever received).

Then just throw your ingredients into two bowls, combine, mix, and your homemade frozen yogurt is ready to freeze and eat that night or the next day.

It really is a quick step by step recipe for frozen yogurt that leaves room for the imagination. If you want to make chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt then add these add ins, if you’d rather add peanut butter or butterscotch chips (amazing), add those instead…or chocolate pieces.

It is very versatile and you can make it any flavor you’d like. Berries are a great add in during the summer and when they are fresh in the store.

It’s a fun activity to do with your kids at home. After you try this you should use 2 baggies and here’s how to make ice cream at home too, that’s a great activity that is sure to make them smile too! Here is the entire recipe.
