There was a slight chance that we would see snow in Temecula on New Year’s Eve 2014. I don’t think anyone really thought it would happen!! Early in the morning I awoke to a snow filled backyard and the mountains covered in white, so exciting.

It was so exciting I woke up my kids, threw on ski gear and we went outside to have some fun!! I heard snow in Temecula happened once before about 10 years ago.
It was a dust and we didn’t live in Temecula then, so this was exciting!!
Many of us have lived in sunny California for our whole lives, so not having to drive up to the mountains and buy chains to play in the snow is exciting!! I seriously never expected snow in Temecula this morning but boy it was fun.
Hopefully it doesn’t take another 10 years, but we definitely had fun while it lasted. 😉
