Let me show you what I found at Walmart when I was thinking about hosting an Easter get together for girls the other day. They made it really easy for me because right when you walk into their Easter section there is an entire aisle of Disney Princess items specifically designed for this time of year.
Of course since I have 2 little ones at home (my 15 year old opts out of finding eggs nowadays and likes to help throw the parties instead) I had to grab 2 different Disney Princess buckets, so I got 1 with all 3 princesses and this one with Elsa and Anna!
1 tip when throwing an Easter egg hunt for girls is to find similar buckets for collecting eggs, but not have them be exactly be the same. Luckily there were a few “girlie” choices and these 2 were perfect for my little ones….
How to Host an Easter Egg Hunt
I also grabbed the sweet door greeter you see here too (eeekk, they will love that)!
Since everything was all in one place (except the Cinderella fashion doll, that was in the toy section), I could grab all the goodies to stuff my Princess basket and be all set….huge plus!!
I went a few aisles over into the party section to finish off the decorations and snagged a Disney Princess Tablecloth and Disney Princess tabletop decorations just for fun too!

You can hide this beauty somewhere in the house, break up the girls into teams, and see who can find her first…easy but fun Easter game!
Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
Another fun and easy Easter egg hunt game is finding eggs of course. 1 tip is to find different colored baskets and eggs to match! Hide the eggs but the rule is that you can only find and collect the Easter eggs that match your basket!
That way everyone has the opportunity to find the same amount of eggs and nobody is upset because “she found more than I did.” You can thank me later for this little tip. lol 😉
Another fun Easter party idea is to have a washable tattoo station. Inside these cute Disney Princess eggs are lots of Princess tattoos that girls love (and parents are ok with since they wash right off)! For an edible idea all of you can come together to create a candy charcuterie board with a spring theme!
