Coloring Pages Letter A
The Letter A Coloring Pages are great ways to teach your child the alphabet. This coloring page features words starting with the letter A. Then you can talk about what upper and lower case looks like and practice letter tracing on the back when done. A great Kindergarten color by number sheet.
There are also a few simple objects that begin with the letter A, such as an apple and a airplane. We continue with more beyond that, like we did with our letter c coloring pages too. Your child will have fun coloring in the different objects and letters. These printable worksheets are great when learning the alphabet.
I have talked quite a bit about what your child should know before Kindergarten. Knowing how to write the upper case and lowercase letters is top of the list. But knowing their letter sounds is even more important in starting to read.
Alphabet Color by Number
Alphabet color by number is a great way to teach your child the alphabet. It’s also a great way to teach them colors. And, it’s a great way to teach them numbers. But, most importantly, it’s a great way to keep them entertained for hours on end.
With alphabet color by number, they can color in the letters of the alphabet while they learn their colors and numbers. And, when they’re done, they’ll have a beautiful piece of art to hang on their wall or refrigerator. Then you could focus on a letter, let’s say M, and learn about Mozart with our music coloring pages.
Number Recognition Worksheets
Do you need help learning the alphabet? These free printable letter A worksheets are a great way to start. Just print them out and you’re good to go! Each worksheet features the same letter of the alphabet, with different pictures. For older kids you can also use the Arizona US states worksheets and learn about that.

Have children identify which color each section on the sheet should be using the key at the top of the page. Give them what crayons are needed to complete each picture.
For children who need more of a challenge, give them an activity to do on the back too. You can have them practice writing their capital letters, make it a tracing worksheet by writing over the numbers on the sheet for more practice, etc.
