I love it when cities offer kids free admissions in January. Southern California does this which includes entrance to amusement parks, museums, and other fun activities! If you have children and want to have fun but save money on tickets this is the way to go! (affiliate links present, image via. visitbuenapark site)

Free Museum Days

Each year San Diego free admissions for kids  in October. Now Buena Park is offering kids free admissions in January! There are TONS of places will get in for free or with significant discounts to many of your favorite attractions.

We LOVE Knott’s and in January they are offering $7 off for kids and $32 off adult admissions! Some free activities include Aquarium of the Pacific, Discovery Cube which is a great hands on kid’s museum and more!

Free Things to do in Southern California

Here is a small list of free activities for kids in SoCal for January here. You can check out the entire list of free kid’s admissions here. The way to go is plan our your weekends with one new thing each Saturday or Sunday to do together.

What days are LA museums free?

You can get free tickets on the first Thursday of every month. Make sure you get advanced tickets for this as numbers are limited.

What day is the arboretum free?

On the third Tuesday of every month you can get free entry. Tickets are limited so call or access their website ahead of time to ensure there are some still available.
