One of Dr. Seuss’s most famous books is The Cat in the Hat. This story follows the mischievous antics of a talking cat who comes to visit two children on a rainy day. This story is widely regarded as a classic, and it has spawned numerous spin-offs, including a successful film adaptation.

There are many other titles that are also worth exploring too. The Lorax is a classic Dr. Seuss character who is perfect for coloring. Plus, this one introduces word matching with the terms at the top of each page and matching them below. Or just allow them to decorate as they wish, depending on your child’s skill level.

If you’re feeling really creative, you can make your own Dr Seuss crafts like we did with our Lorax finger puppets. That is right, all you need is some glue and felt or foam sheets to create your own make believe world. Great craft for the classroom, Girl Scout troop activity or birthday craft.
