Chinese New Year Color by Number

You don’t have to follow the key at the top, but it does provide a bit of education especially for little ones learning number recognition. Below are 12 different pages to choose from. Each one has a different zodiac picture on it. You can choose to print them all or if you just want one in particular if you only wanted color by number dragon let’s say.

If you need Kindergarten color by number pages these are very appropriate. Not too hard for them but still provides a bit of education as they match, work on fine motor skills with crayons or colored pencils and just have fun with it.

I always suggest that these two are used vs. markers. Those tend to bleed thru and sometimes over the line and into the other boxes. You can shade a lot better with colored pencils too I think. If you have older kids they will still enjoy these for sure. For an added activity in the classroom you could use the back for another assignment.

Either they could do a research project on the Chinese Zodiac Sign in front of them and write about it on the back. For younger kids, but those who still need a bit more of a challenge than coloring they could write a fictitious story featuring their character.

Heck it’s even a fun color by number for adults pages for just some relaxation. I haven’t found an age, boy or girl who was like no thank you I will pass.
