5 ways to celebrate everyday victories at home with your family that don’t cost much but will create memories.
We are a family of 5, that is to say there is always something to celebrate. Whether it be a good report card, a great grade on a test, making the winning goal at a soccer game. The list goes on and on. It isn’t always feasible to go to a restaurant or buy a gift to celebrate these victories. Time and finances sometimes get in the way, but there are many easy ways to celebrate everyday victories at home. Let us share a few ideas with you! This post was sponsored by Mirum Shopper.
If you could find restaurant quality foods that you loved, that cooked quickly, and added to the special nature of your evening you’d be all in right??!! That’s my kind of meal too! There are many Meals for Two offered by Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s that offer the variety the 5 of us like, and two of them are perfect for us all (no leftovers unfortunately after a meal like this).
Today we were celebrating my youngest’s accomplishment of passing her 7 timetables test the first time around. My “baby” loves anything with chicken, so Bertolli Chicken Florentine with Farfalle pasta is her favorite. My husband and I order Beef and Broccoli any time we can so P.F. Chang’s variety in the frozen section of Walmart is our favorite.
With bold flavors of a traditional favorite cooked right at home, it’s nice to know you can have it any time you like and cooked in just minutes. You can find them both, somewhat next to one another, so when I’m shopping for every day necessities it’s an easy dinner idea I know we will all love.
It is nice to have a little variety at dinnertime. It isn’t always feasible to cook two completely different meals at the same time, but with Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s frozen meals for two it’s not only possible.
It only takes 11 minutes to do so! Seriously, from start to finish I can cook both dishes at the same time on the stovetop and they’re ready at the same time to serve.
The sauce served along side the juicy chicken and al dente Farfalle noodles in this dish is included, and is full of Parmesan and Romano cheeses.
Everyone gets a taste of what they like, and can try the other to see if it might be their next favorite dish. It’s a great way to mix it up and provide a bit of variety for everyone…but still really easy for me to prepare. Here are a few other ideas:
Ways to celebrate everyday victories at home
- Cook their favorite meal (talked a bit about this already)
- Sing a special song (if you don’t have one make one up that you only sing on “those special days”)
- Dance (yes, even the adults)
- Watch a movie (they get to choose) together
- Play a game (they get to choose) together
It doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to make an evening special and celebrate the little things in life….your children will remember it believe me. You can find a new game you think that person would love, and a few of the special meals you see here from Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s in the frozen aisle. The next time your little (or big) one comes home with something great or you have a victory at work try one or more of these ideas and let us know what you think!
