Now that I am a blogger I remember those days of teaching in a classroom and throughout the years I think of what I wish I had found. We always had limited resources and had to supplement with our own funds to make parties and rainy day activities fun.

- Smencils colored pencils are by far the most fun and vibrant shades ever.
- With kids I prefer that they have a smaller box of crayons so there are fewer choices, but enough. 😉
Shamrock Pictures to Color
With three girls and many years as a stay at home too I was forever looking for St. Patricks Day printables that cost me nothing. I mean yes you have to supply the paper but beyond that you are able to do more cheap crafts at home if the graphics are right there for you to use.
Small Shamrock Coloring Page
Like I said at the beginning, there are tons of things you could do with printable shamrocks, but just a few ideas are here that we thought of:
- Color the pictures, cut them out (great motor skill practice for little ones). Punch a hole in the corners. Then make a shamrock craft by using a piece of twine and string them together to make garland for your fireplace.
- Use the green ones, print and cut out. Tape on your child’s door to celebrate the holiday.
- Have your kids write what their wishes are for the new year, and then color over them with crayons.
- Color, cut them out and tape them together, slightly overlapping to make a fan.

Use colored pencils or crayons to color the black and white shamrock pages, then cut them out and decorate how you’d like.
