Party Punch with Sherbet Ingredients
- Sprite
- Sorbet
- Juice
It is super simple to throw this together I tell you. You can tweak it a bit too if you can’t find 7 up brand you could use Sprite or a store brand lemon lime soda. Occasionally I will find a 2 liter of Fanta pineapple soda and OMG is that good. It should just be something fruity is all really.
How to Make Non Alcoholic Party Punch
- Get out a large punch bowl
- Pour in a container of Simply Orange juice.
- some like a mixture of pineapple orange juice
- Simply pineapple juice can be used instead too
- Follow that by 1 liter of 7-up.
- Scoop out some pink sorbet or any color you choose; we used rainbow this time.
- Orange slices floating inside are optional but super fun.
- You can freeze and put in an ice ring to keep it cold
Alcoholic Punch with Sherbet
I don’t think I have to explain how you could turn this into a party punch cocktail but I will. Now you won’t use 2 liters of alcohol, I mean no….. Use a light soda with a cup of hard liquor to give it just a boost. Taste and adjust to your liking but a little goes a long way if you are using something strong like Everclear vs. something lighter like Captain Morgan. Pair with sherbet flavor of choice, allow to melt a bit and serve. This gets rave reviews too.
Baby Shower Punch
We have a bunch of other easy party punch baby shower drinks listed here that are specific for that type of party. You could certainly personalize this one for that celebration too. It is easy to do with the color or sherbet you choose. Use fruit punch or pink lemonade instead of soda for a girl, or baby blue Hawaiian punch for a blue theme.
Easy Birthday Party Punch
You could serve this as part of a Half birthday party celebration too!! Making it for a smaller crowd? Just cut everything in half, easy peasy. It’s super fun, and they probably would never expect it. No presents are necessary (though nice cards never hurt, and handmade is always best).
Sherbet Punch Recipe
- 1-2 liters of 7-up – depends on how bubbly you want it (we used 1/2 of our 2 liter bottle)
- 52 oz. Simply Orange juice – the entire container
- 6 scoops of sorbet
I recommend a bowl like this so you can see it and serve it up better. In a large pitcher the scoops will get stuck and make a mess. A drink dispenser will get clogged since it is pretty thick.
Party Punch Recipes
During Christmas we love a large pot of Crockpot hot apple cider for our get togethers available too. You can spike that with some whiskey or leave as is. Other easy recipes for party drinks would be to make a few versions of this one but with different flavors. Flavored sodas or ginger ale can be used instead of lemon lime soda and there are tons of ice cream varieties.
Party Punch for Kids
There is a printable recipe card down below you can keep handy or just come back time and time again. Here is a brief step by step to get you thinking. In a punch bowl combine your orange juice followed by 1 liter of 7-up (could add up to 2 liters). Gently stir. (you could double the recipe easily with a larger bowl)
- Then scoop in 5-6 scoops of sorbet. Allow ice cream to melt just a bit before serving for optimal taste.
- Best if served about 15 minutes after making it so there is a little bit melted into the mixture to sweeten it up. Enjoy party punch for kids.
Have cute plastic wine glasses for kids, they love those. For a baby shower it is great to fill mason jars with twine around the top with name tags hanging off of them as place holders. Printable directions are below for you that include nutritional information too. Calories, saturated fat, etc.. will change if you alter ingredients listed.
