If you’re looking for something a bit different to serve, especially during the Fall with these great orange colors you’ll love this orange creamsicle drink. I think of browns and oranges when Fall arrives and when you have people over it’s fun to have a different drink to offer that goes with that motif. Use frozen orange juice to make a frosty consistency, or refrigerated juice if you like. (affiliate links present)

Tangerine juice is good too for a bit of a different flavor. The whipped topping on top not only makes a yummy addition but makes a fun mustache for those who drink it too! Ours might be a bit different than others with the addition of fresh fruits vs. frozen but trust me it is delicious baby shower drinks.

What is Creamsicle drink made from?

  1. Lemon Jello pudding mix
  2. Milk
  3. Cinnamon
  4. Cool Whip
  5. Banana
  6. Orange juice
  7. Ice cubes

You can leave the banana out if you want a smoother drink as well, your choice. Best when enjoyed cold and freshly made, you could prep the ingredients beforehand if having a party so you can whip them together quickly.

Frozen Orange Creamsicle Drink

We like to pair this with a slice of our grapefruit cake for a citrus treat all the way around. You want it all to be pretty though too right? Remember that layering is important to get the right look and it is easy to do.

The Jell-o pudding makes it nice and thick and creamy with another fruit flavor along with the orange and bananas. I like to call it an easy orange creamsicle drink but you can call it whatever you want. You can add some to the rim when served too like we do with our Chilled sparkling apple cider non alcoholic drink.

Make it a classic creamsicle or add a bit of vanilla vodka or a dash of vodka orange to make into an orange creamsicle cocktail! Serve with our lotus drink when people come over so they can have a choice of a few.

How do you order the orange creamsicle drink at Starbucks?

The easiest way is to order an orange refresher with water. Then ask them to add sweet cream foam to the top of that and when you get it, swirl it around so it combines together but you have a bit more on top. I have done this with their pineapple refresher too and it tastes like a Dole Whip! Try the same with their lime drink too.

Can I make a non-dairy or vegan version of the Orange Creamsicle Drink?

Yes. Just use non-dairy alternatives for the ice cream, yogurt, whipped topping and/or milk listed in your recipe. Choose lactose free milk works just the same as coconut milk, or soy milk. Other choices would be almond milk or oat milk to make dairy free orange creamsicle drink.

Can I add alcohol to the Orange Creamsicle Drink?

Absolutely. A popular choice for spiked orange creamsicle drink is to add a splash of vanilla vodka or orange liqueur like triple sec for an adult version of the drink. Adjust the amount of alcohol to your taste preferences, and remember to drink responsibly.

How to Make a Copycat Orange Julius

I guarantee once you try it you’ll love the way it tastes! Kids love this recipe more than most because of all the fruit flavors and of course the cool whip on top. Way more fun than just Fresh squeezed lemonade.

It is a great little frozen treat you can let kids make themselves. Allowing them to help in the kitchen makes them interested in “cooking” other things, and more likely for them to try new foods and flavors.

Of course there isn’t anything odd about this Fall drink but in the future they’re more likely to taste something new if they make it themselves. Looking for more fun drink ideas? Our party punch recipe is always a huge hit!

If having a large get together serve them with vanilla wafers with our coconut pineapple pina colada dip and an iced tea drink for adults to enjoy (that can be spiked). Then try Sparkling cranberry sangria mocktail that is not only yummy but super pretty when served to guests too.
