Easy and creative after School snacks with peanut butter ideas are here. Your kids will love these creative healthy snacks for kids each day.
Do your kids love peanut butter? Would they eat it every day in their lunch if you let them? Could they eat it after School too….mine too! I don’t know what it is about peanut butter but our house is never without a jar, and a spare one in the cupboard for back up! Let me show you some yummy and fun after School snacks with peanut butter you could make (and a new one that just came out) to put a smile on their faces! Special thanks goes out to Jif for sponsoring this post so we could share our ideas with all of you.
- In the morning it is a mad dash to make sure everyone has their homework, is dressed, hair is done, and lunches are made. There isn’t a lot of variation in the contents of my girls’ sandwiches.
They are pretty content with any of them usually, just so long as there’s peanut butter in it. lol Sometimes the everyday square bread and filler gets a bit boring for my taste and I want to send something more FUN….what do you think of these healthy snacks for kids??
You see…all of them start with a peanut butter sandwich, but with some love and creativity you can make lunch and snack time a bit more fun!
The bottom left one is great when they’re beginning to learn about fractions, and they can bring a few out for snack and then save the other half for lunch.
- After School when they are hungry again you can use something other than bread to make a filling Jiffy peanut buttery snack like in the bottom right picture using slices of apple with some raisins and/or granola stuck to the stickiness!

A new and FUN way to eat peanut butter has arrived at stores too recently….Jif bars!! They have the same great flavor as the best ever peanut butter cookies we make. But it’s in a convenient bar…oh yeah and there’s 3 flavors too (I’m a little obsessed with the peanut butter chocolate one here, but I decided to share).
Packed with peanut buttery taste, crunchy granola, and 7-8 grams of protein they do a great job of making my kids happy + filling them up when they come home “starving” from School. ๐
Since I’m a little obsessed with peanut butter myself I’ve had Jif™ Bars as a snack once I get home from the gym. They’re great in my purse too when I’m on the go with errands all day.
