Teacher appreciation week is typically the first week in May. Yes you can just grab a gift card and write their name and a message on the card. Believe me when I was teaching I really loved that. If you want to make it more personal and have sort of a themed gift we have some other ideas teachers love too.
We have a lot of Teacher appreciation gift ideas on our site. I hadn’t gathered all of the printables in one place so now was the day to do just that. One on this link above that has been really popular has been our coffee gift tags here.
I’m all about coffee, and most are in this line of work. You see I used to teach Kindergarten, then moved to second grade and really loved it before I had kids. Fast forward a few years and I had a few littles at home and started blogging from home. I still look back at my years with students (who have since graduated from college, yes I’m old).
Creativity is really a huge hit during this week I will tell you. I remember a few that weren’t expensive at all but made me smile or laugh because they were so witty in what they said. Choose what resonates with you or make your own using something like PicMonkey.
