• With kids I prefer that they have a smaller box of crayons so there are fewer choices, but enough. 😉

Color by Number Easy

Above you can see one of the most simple varieties. There is no math involved, just matching numbers from the picture to the key up above. You can find this and others similar to the above picture on our Winter color by number post.

They all help practice fine motor skills and improve number recognition too. Coloring pages are fun and great for matching colors for really little ones, but adding numbers and color facts together add a bit of education to it.

Now let’s move on to a few that are harder than just matching as you see here below but still appropriate for younger ages. Most of our printable coloring sheets have a multiplication and addition, or subtraction option for younger kids. I will list a few here that offer those options so you can find the pictures of your choice(s).

Some have single digit math problems like these dinosaur color by number choices and a few others offer double digits.
