We have a bunch of pixel art color by number Mario sheets here. That is right it looks like a blank page until you follow the color code key at the top of the page and it will come to life. Mario Brothers coloring pages are so fun for all ages, even adults. (affiliate links present)

Super Mario Color by Number

This was the first Nintendo video game I played as a kid. Yes I had the original grey machine with the two wired controllers in middle school and oh how fun it was. Now boys and girls in this generation can enjoy Luigi and his friend in more ways than we did back then.

Once our Star Wars color by number pages went crazy online I thought of other popular characters to include and this was on the top of the list.

Since you’re here I know you are looking for all the free printables for kids you can find. I add more each week so make sure you bookmark the blue link above and check back often.

First you should subscribe to our free newsletter below to get more via. email too. Feel free to print one or as many as you like for rainy day activities that boys and girls will all enjoy! Here are our favorite items to use on coloring pages, word searches and color by number printables;

  • Smencils colored pencils are by far the most fun and vibrant shades ever.
  • With kids I prefer that they have a smaller box of crayons so there are fewer choices, but enough. 😉

How do you make pixel art?

Well in this case the key and grid is made for you here. If you had a blank grid like with some graph paper you could create your own pretty easily. If you look at the one below you can see how it’s done. Each number correlates to a color and when followed it will create a picture of your choice. There are several choices below for you.

Mario Pixel Printable

Characters featured in this Cute Pixel Art are Luigi, Super Mario, the cute mushroom, turtle, ghost pixel, princess color by number sheet and more. If you are having a party these will save you a bunch of money. You could either use them as a great activity during the day or print out and add into the party gifts for them to take home.

Guess what?? We have another one with our Harry Potter Pixel Art too! Trying to come up with a bunch of options so they could be used as a birthday part activity too, we recently added Pokemon pixel art.

Just like our dinosaur color by number printables you will use the blue link below. If you want all 12 of them you just hit print when the new window pops up. You may only want one particular one though and that is possible too. Instead of just hitting go, press file, change ALL to custom next to pages and decide which one you want.

Below that is the option to choose how many you’d like. If you have a bunch of kids coming over then of course you’ll want one for everyone. Don’t make them double sided if you choose 2 different pictures, that won’t work well when coloring.

Time needed: 5 minutes

Mario Brothers Color by Number

  1. Print

Click on this blue link to print all or some of the Mario pixel art printables

    .
  2. Color

Use crayons or colored pencils using the key at the bottom of each page and the mystery picture will appear. The boxes are rather small so markers or paint by number won’t work well for these.

Free Pixel Art

I always suggest using crayons or colored pencils are best so the color doesn’t bleed thru or into other cells on the sheet. This is easier for a bit older kids. For toddlers who can only hold large crayons I would opt for our Spring coloring pages where the spaces are much larger and they will be able to color in between the lines easier.
