100 Days of School Color by Number Printables

Years and years ago I came up with a bunch of 100 days of school shirt ideas. It was when my youngest started Kindergarten and I was the room mom. Now she is a Freshman in High School and yes I am crying…and wondering where the heck did the time go???

Since then I have continued to blog about all the things important in our lives, and those I think y’all might enjoy too. Adding more free holiday printables have been a focus since then. I was a teacher years back and remember how thankful I was to find anything fun that didn’t cost me a dime….so there’s that.

100 Days of School Color by Number

Speaking of teaching, if you are a teacher you may want to grab one or a few of these for your students. I will say that the problems on all of them are appropriate for Kindergarten color by number activity sheets. Even first and second grade can get a kick out of these because you could create a game to see who solves them all fastest too.

Have a more advanced little one at home and looking for Preschool color by number pages, they’d be fun for that age too. As far as coloring goes I would highly recommend using colored pencils because markers will bleed thru. Totally up to you. Some of the spots are small so as far as crayons go you would need them narrow.

Since you’re here I know you are looking for all the free printables for kids you can find. I add more each week so make sure you bookmark the blue link above and check back often.

First you should subscribe to our free newsletter below to get more via. email too. Feel free to print one or as many as you like for rainy day activities that boys and girls will all enjoy! Here are our favorite items to use on coloring pages, word searches and color by number printables;

  • Smencils colored pencils are by far the most fun and vibrant shades ever.
  • With kids I prefer that they have a smaller box of crayons so there are fewer choices, but enough. 😉

Now I have the link you will need here below. I explain how to get them all if you want to make a booklet out of them with a staple in the corner, or just one. If you want to use them over and over again, laminate each sheet. Give children wet erase markers, have them check the answer key, then erase and color the box.

Time needed: 5 minutes

Printables 100 Days of School

  1. Print

First you need to click on this link to get school printables free of charge. It will bring up a booklet with all of them. Just hit print at the top if you want them all. You can only choose one though if that is all you want. Click file, print, and change all next to pages to the page # you want instead for that.

  2. Solve

Have students or your children solve the color by number math problems with a pencil. It is best to have a key for them to refer to and check their answers, or have you do it so it comes out right when the decorate it next.

  3. Color

Using colored pencils is better than markers to follow the key and color by number appropriately so the color doesn’t bleed thru to the back.

Addition Color by Number for Kids

Now if you wanted to create a Happy 100th day of school free printable with problems that were harder you could. You would just white out the problems. Write in your own and then photo copy that. You could leave the numbers in the stars the same as long as the new answer = that. Or change the addition to subtraction in the boxes and alter the star numbers to work.

How to Celebrate 100 Days of School

There are many fun activities you can do to make this day fun. This is a great and free fine motor skills one but you could consume the whole day with others. Bring in 100 cotton balls and have a contest to see how long each child takes to pick them all up, or throw them into cups successfully.

Have themed color days where they wear that type of shirt with 100 different items stuck on it. Celebrate the 100th day however you like, but it is an exciting time where kids know that the year is winding down. We all need a breather during the year and even though this one may seem a bit silly that is okay.

Kids can celebrate the fact that they are 100 days smarter than they were the day they walked in the door right?? And that is something they should be proud of!!
