Now that you have the loom I am sure your kids are searching for Rainbow Loom instructions and videos to help them make different styles. There are many styles of bracelets from easy to really difficult. We will share several of them here. (affiliate links present, originally published 12/13)

How to Make Rainbow Loom Bracelets

  • The Rainbow Loom was all the rage this Christmas, and still is now.
  • If your child didn’t get one but now wants to join their friends you can grab one here .
  • You can find 600 bands in bulk here, or 1800 bands for a bargain. I am all about finding a deal! 😉

There are many other styles I have seen, and the gals over at Kids Activities Blog have great pictures of many of them here. You can be as creative as you’d like to create different styles of your own.

That is what’s great about this craze, it makes kids creative! The other 9 styles (rainbow ladder is at the top) I’m featuring, & I have each one linked to the uTube instructional video that shows you how to do each one, are:

There are a ton of different styles you can make with some being more difficult than others. I would follow the instructions in the box that the loom comes in to start so you get the general idea overall. Then depending on their age your kids could move on to other designs like these;

  1. Triple Single
  2. Liberty Twist
  3. Taffy Twists
  4. Hibiscus Bracelet
  5. Totem Pole
  6. Waterfall Wave

Doing some rainbow weaving art is a fun project too when you have a bunch of kids together wanting to do crafts of all kinds.
