- With kids I prefer that they have a smaller box of crayons so there are fewer choices, but enough. 😉
Rhyming Worksheet
If you’re looking for a fun way to improve your child’s writing skills, try using a rhyming worksheet. Rhyming is a great way to help kids learn how to sound out words and identify letter patterns. It’s also a great way to get them thinking creatively about language.
To use a rhyming worksheet, simply print out the sheet and have your child complete the exercises. For each exercise, they’ll need to find words that rhyme and color it the designated color listed at the top of each page. They can then use these words in a sentence or two of their own too on the back.
Encourage them to come up with their own rhymes as an added activity. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even turn the exercise into a game by challenging them to find as many words that rhyme with the given word as possible. Who knows, you might even end up with a little poem by the end of it!
