back to school word search

If you’re a teacher or just a parent looking for a few fun and free back to school activities and printables here is a good one for all ages. Who doesn’t love a good puzzle. Searching for hidden words, make it a game and see who can find them all first at a party for the end of summer or just some easy fun for the weekend. Print them out for your new students and have them on their desks when they come in on the first day of school. Any way you use it is fine and yes fun! Here is a free back to school word search just for you. (originally published 8/17)

For Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and other holidays it is fun to have printables to use such as Bingo games and word searches like this one.

Feel free to print out as many as you like and share them with your friends too!

Here is the back to school word search printable for the start of a new year, maybe find the words and highlight them.

If you’re a teacher the best way to make these last through the years and save money in the end is to laminate each page and have them use wet erase markers to mark off the words they find.

Then you can have a key laminated at the front of the room (turned backwards) with all the words highlighted and then laminated over it in case they have issues and need help…frees your hands that way.

If you have really little ones, give our free Kindergarten word search printables a try too. Looking for more free printables??

Our Bingo cards are fun to use as well especially in the classroom!

Do these the same way laminating each one so you can use them over and over again. I provide 4 different cards for each printable Bingo set so not everyone will be a winner all at once.

Use pennies, buttons, or little treats like mini marshmallows for markers and everyone will love it no matter their age.

Want to see a few of my favorite things you might want to write on your Christmas list this year??!! 😉 Take a peek and see how many you might already have…twinsies!
