If you are all about your pressure cooker or Cosori we have a bunch of quick Instant Pot recipes, easy Ninja Foodi recipes and/or easy air fryer recipes to fill up your lists! That is how I cook almost every night so I guess I assume other busy moms are very much like myself.
If there are just 2 or 3 of you I would suggest a mini Instant Pot. You can half any of the pressure cooker recipes I have on my site so you don’t have as many leftovers. OR cook one of my one pot meals as is and then freeze what’s left in airtight containers to enjoy in weeks to come.

How to Meal Plan
Ok so I do make quite a few easy Crockpot recipes too. I actually have one in my slow cooker right now to make things easier after returning from horseback riding tonight. This is how I use this meal plan template:
- On Sunday I wipe off the meals from the week before.
- I use these peel and stick laminating sheets to seal it, then I use wet erase markers to plan, and use baby wipes to clean it off every week.
- I look in my deep freezer, because we buy meat in bulk, to see what meats I should cook that week.
- Look in the pantry to see what I can pair with those proteins.
- Search for other recipes to fill in the rest of the gaps for the rest of the week. I always leave Friday as blank for a “feed yourself day”.
Then you can add the ingredients you will need for the meals you are adding in that may be something new to your normal rotation and only buy those items. You could be planning for the week or do the whole entire month if you wanted.

Take note: If you plan for something, like a salmon with dry rub meal let’s say, and it is SUPER expensive that week I tend to switch gears. I might instead use the same dry rub I planned on but use it on baked pork chops with dry rub instead that are on sale.
If you are focusing on healthy meals this can really help keep you on track. When you don’t have a plan and then get extra hungry it can lead you off track for breakfast lunch and dinner. This way when using a free printable weekly meal planner you can look in the afternoon as to what to cook and know all the items are accessible.
Yes you could use a monthly calendar to do the same thing but this keeps me more on track since it is very focused. Also I can put it on the fridge so everyone in the house knows what’s on the menu planner for that night.
I put it right next to our air fryer cook times printable so meal prep is as quick and simple as possible for me.
Feel free to share this with friends once you realize how helpful this is to your family too. You can print many at a time to keep on hand or reuse them as I do. Either way I hope it makes your busy life easier as well.
