This cheesy chili dip recipe is fantastic!! Great appetizer to serve for the big game or just when people come over. Creamy and cheesy!
We love chili…..who doesn’t??!! I wanted to create a variation of the chili we love but in a creamy cheesy dip form for an appetizer and this cheesy chili dip recipe is just to die for!! Pair it with my garlic cheese pull apart bread and you will be in heaven…and people will ask you for this recipe! Here is how you make it.
Cheesy chili dip
I know….it is as delicious as it looks! You can either cook it in a small/dipper crockpot (affiliate links present) and leave it in there for the duration of time your friends are over. You can serve it in a cast iron skillet with Jiffy cornbread in cast iron skillet. I think it looks cool this way with chips and my garlic pull apart bread beside it.
You could use ground beef or another variety like we did in our Crockpot venison chili. If you double or triple this you might want to make and then pour into a slow cooker to keep warm for hours too.
Chili Cream Cheese Dip
So you’re going to start by browning about a lb. of ground beef or turkey. Then drain that and add your red beans, a can of Bold MANWICH (it’s not spicy), 1/2 c. sour cream and about 1/2 c. cheddar cheese (or more if you want it really cheesy).
It doesn’t take long at all to make and can just sit on low and be reheated well if you keep it in the skillet, just takes a minute or so back on the burner, or throw it in a crockpot and leave it on low for the whole time. Serve it with scoops chips and/or my garlic cheesy pull apart bread.
If you love this easy chili cheese dip then don’t forget to garlic pull apart bread to serve next to this yummy appetizer!
