We’re here to share our Cirque du Soleil Luzia review with all of you. If you’ve never seen a Cirque show before they are amazing and this year’s doesn’t disappoint. The A Walking Dream of Mexico theme shines throughout the show and the acrobatics are incredible. A must see show when it comes to your city.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of attending a Cirque show in your city or when you were on vacation you know how incredible they are. If you’re thinking of buying tickets and maybe seeing your first show we will share our Cirque du Soleil Luzia review with you so you can get a sneak peek of what it’s like. Of course there is NO way to share just how amazing this show is in photographs but I have a few for you here as a small tease. 😉 Special thanks goes out to Cirque du Soleil for sponsoring our visit so we could share our experience with all of you.
This. Is. Us.
Well, my husband couldn’t make it so it was a fun girls night out with my girls.
The two of us saw Cirque in Las Vegas years ago and it was SO good that I took my oldest daughter when she was about 8 or so the next year in Southern California, actually the same location this Cirque du Soleil Luzia show was at, which was fun.
This is our Cirque du Soleil review from not only myself but what my girls thought of it too. 😉
This time I was able to bring all 3 girls so they could see what I was talking about when I said, “this circus is like nothing you’ve seen before, and may never see again”, they agreed when it was all over. My youngest who is 9 typically won’t sit still for much but was riveted for the entire time watching the transition of acts.
One of the many things I love about all the Cirque du Soleil shows is the variety of acts.
Yes there is always a theme, this one being A Waking Dream of Mexico but within that theme are acrobats, gymnasts, dancers, singers, contortionists, jugglers, magicians, and oh the sets are incredible.
All of the shows I’ve seen have some sort of water element in them which is just so incredible because you are inside a tent! This show happened to be in Costa Mesa at the Orange County Fairgrounds. The tent is large but not so large that the seats are too far away. I love that. Really even the very back row isn’t far and your view isn’t impeded. We were in the middle of the audience and even my youngest was able to see well.
I mean, most of the acts are high, or coming down from the top of the tent. There are people and characters everywhere, even in the audience…and interacting with audience members.
It is hard to explain how awesome this portion of the show was. With rainfall and talented acrobats performing in and around it…but I think this picture captures just a glimpse.
I have to share 1 more photo from the @cirquedusoleil show last night because it was so amazing! (ad) Yes that’s 🌧 rain in the middle of the stage, the contortionist made our jaw drop too. Take your kids..seriously so worth it. #cirquedusoleil #cirque #luzia #luziacirquedusoleil #costamesa #orangecounty #california #blogger #travel #thetypicalmom #amazing #instaphotography #photography #photographyislifee #photographylovers #momlife #mom
I normally use my large fancy camera when I travel and do reviews such as this one but I made it a point to NOT bring mine to this show. Reason being, I wanted to really be able to take it all in and see for myself every element.
Many times when I have my camera it takes me away from the event and I didn’t want to do that, especially since I was enjoying it with my daughters….so these are all cell phone photos…but you can still feel the amazement I think.
All in all my Cirque du Soleil Luzia review would be “just, amazing…and great for kids!”
There is an intermission in the middle so if you have children they can get up and use the restroom and get a snack but seriously they won’t be antsy during the show, there is just way to much to see….and like i said there’s NOTHING else like it.
