Place ham hocks in the middle, or pour diced ham on top with seasonings, onions and broth.
Secure lid and close steam valve. Set to 40 minutes high pressure followed by a natural release of pressure. (if beans are soaked overnight, drain and change cook time to 20 minutes with a 15 minute natural release)
Stir, season with salt and pepper to taste when serving.

Adding Vegetables (option)
If you want to add vegetables I would stick to 1 cup of thick carrot dials or baby carrots and up to 3/4 cup of cut celery. Add on top of dry beans with broth.
