1/2oniondiced +2 tbsp butter - optional if you want even more onions
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spritz with nonstick cooking spray.
If you want to add even more onions than what is in the Lipton pack, heat a heavy skillet over medium high heat. Melt the butter in the skillet and then add the onions. Cook slowly until the onions are soft and caramelized.
To make meatloaf: Mix all ingredients together until well blended using your hands. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 55 minutes or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.
Remove, allow to sit for 10 minutes then slice and serve with gravy on top if desired.
