Slow Cooker Soup Recipe
Easy slow cooker soup recipes with few ingredients in your Crockpot cook all day. Healthy with chicken or this split pea soup with carrots are just a few.

Ingredients

cup
split peas
uncooked, green

vegetable broth

onion
diced

carrots
peeled and sliced

stalks
celery
sliced

ham
diced or 2 ham hocks
Instructions
If using ham hocks place them in the center of the pot with other ingredients around them.
Pour in all ingredients and close lid. Slow cook on low heat for 7-8 hours or until peas are tender and when stirred break apart to become smooth.
If using ham hocks take them out, slice off meat and dice. Put back into pot and discard bones.
