Slime with Glue Recipe

This is how to make slime with glue, borax and water. An easy recipe to make a stretchy squishy slime to add glitter or treasures into.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white glue 4 oz.
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp borax liquid
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Instructions

  • First pour 4 ounces of glue into a bowl and add 1/2 c. water and mix well. I like to use plastic bowls and spoons so I can throw them away when done. It's a bit hard to clean otherwise.
  • Then add 3-4 drops of any color food coloring and/or your glitter (optional - start with a tablespoon, you can add more later if you want).Mix well.
  • In another bowl add 1/2 tsp. borax to 1/4 c. hot water and mix until it is dissolved. Add to your glue mixture into this mixture and stir well.
  • Mix with your hands for about a minute kneading until all liquid is gone and it is pliable. If it's too sticky add a bit more of your borax solution, add 1 tablespoon at a time until it stiffens upIt's ready to start playing with the slime! Store it in a ziploc bag so it won't dry out.
