Recipe Using Egg Roll Wrapper

Ingredients

  • 6 egg roll wrappers
  • 1/2 lb ground sausage
  • 1 c cheese
  • 3 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 3 tbsp sour cream optional, to make creamy

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat, when not pink add taco seasoning and coat. Remove from heat and allow to slightly cool. Fold in sour cream if you want insides creamy.
  • Lay egg roll wrapper on cutting board and put 2 tbsp of meat in center with a sprinkle of cheese on top.
  • Fold in sides, then roll up end over the meat and to the other side. Wet end and fold up to seal shut.
  • Heat oil in another skillet until hot enough to fry once dropped inside. Set filled egg roll in and brown for 2 minutes, flip and fry for 2 more min. or so on other side.
