Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cut ends off brussels and discard those. Slice each one in half lengthwise.
Melt butter and pour into the pan with seasonings sprinkled all around too evenly. Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese evenly across pan into melted butter.
Lay sliced brussels with the cut sides facing down into the dish without allowing them to overlap.
Roast in oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are as tender as you'd like them to be. Remove and let rest in pan for 5 minutes before serving.
