Flower Pot Cupcakes

How to make flower pot cupcakes for a birthday party or fun edible treat. Using oreos and cake mix with mini pots and edible flowers these are fun.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix chocolate is best + ingredients to make batter, follow directions on back of the box
  • 1 package Oreos
  • 1 tub chocolate frosting
  • edible flowers and leaves

Instructions

  • Bake cupcakes as directed on the back of your box. Fill muffin liners 3/4 of the way full so they rise over the liner. Allow to completely cool before decorating.
  • Remove cream filling from inside of Oreo cookies, put cookie parts in a bag and crush, or use food processor to blend into fine dirt like mix. Pour on to a plate.
  • Frost top of cupcakes then turn upside down and press into plate with crushed Oreos.
  • Place into little clay pots and decorate the top with edible flowers and leaves.
