Cake Mix with Pudding

Easy cake mix with pudding and sour cream recipe makes boxed taste like it's from a bakery! Use chocolate or any Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker flavor into a pretty bundt cake.

  • 1 box cake mix chocolate used
  • 1 box chocolate pudding mix 3.4 oz., not instant, chocolate used
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray, set aside for now. In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding mix.
  • Add the sour cream, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Mix well. Once you have a smooth texture, pour the batter into your prepared bundt pan. Bake for approximately 50-55 minutes or until toothpick comes out with moist crumbs attached, not dry, not with wet batter attached.
  • Carefully remove the cake from your oven and let cool in the pan on a cooling rack before turning out on a plate. If you are decorating, wait till the cake has cooled completely before frosting and sprinkles.
