Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, rice wine vinegar and chili paste. Add the grated into the bowl and mix.
Place the broccoli in a large bowl and pour the soy sauce mix over the top and toss the broccoli to coat each piece well.Spread the broccoli out on the baking tray in a single layer so it cooks evenly. Place in the oven for 10 minutes, and stir halfway through.
While the broccoli is roasting, grate the garlic cloves into a small bowl and add the sesame oil and mix. Slice the green onions into thin pieces and add them to the bowl and stir.
Once the broccoli has cooked for 10 minutes, remove and add the garlic/sesame oil mixture. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over top and toss the broccoli to coat each piece.
Return it to the oven and continue to roast for 3-5 additional minutes until the broccoli is tender. Remove and garnish with freshly sliced green onions, or an extra sprinkle of sesame seeds if desired!
