Instant Pot Pizza
If you've been wondering how to make an Instant Pot pizza I have the answer for you!! We have made these individual pizzas in our pressure cooker for weeks now and the kids love it for dinner. It's simple once you have the right pan, ingredients, and instructions. Try it this week and let us know what you think!
- 1 container refrigerated pizza dough or make your own
- 1 1/4 c Horizon Organic Mozzarella Cheese or more, enough to make 2 pizzas
- 3/4 c pizza or spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c pepperoni
- 1/4 c sliced olives or other pizza toppings
Unroll your pizza dough and stretch it out just a bit so it is flat and large enough to cut 2 pizzas using the pizza 7" pan as a guide.
Spray the inside of your Instant Pot pizza pan with just a little non stick spray.
Turn your pizza pan upside down, on to your dough, and cut around it with a knife.
Turn pizza pan right side up, stretch the circle of dough just enough so it fits inside your pan with enough to come up on the sides for the crust.
Spoon in a bit of sauce, top with cheese and toppings and cover with tinfoil.
Add a trivet inside your Instant Pot and pour in 2 c. of water.
Make a sling out of tin foil and put underneath your pizza pan to lower it on to your trivet.
Close lid and steam valve and set to manual, high, for 15 minutes.
Do a quick release, lift out, uncover pan and carefully slide it out of the pan and on to a cutting board to slice. Best when served immediately.
