Preheat your toaster oven to 370 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Place the hot dogs on your metal, solid sheet or oven tray lined with aluminum foil with a slit in the top of each weenie. Ensure there is some space between the hot dogs to allow for even cooking. Crowding them together can result in unevenly cooked franks.
(Cooking time can vary depending on the thickness and type of hot dogs, as well as your toaster oven's temperature.) Generally, regular sizes will take about 6-8 minutes flipped halfway thru.
When cooking frozen hot dogs in toaster oven, slit each one on top all the way down to vent. These are best cooked at 350 degrees F for closer to 10-13 minutes or until tender inside and browned outside.
