1/2cpowdered sugaroptional if you want the cracked look
Instructions
** If using refrigerated cookie dough, cut into the same thickness and skip the steps to make the dough.
In a bowl mix cake mix with eggs and oil until you get a thick cookie like batter. Cover bowl with cling wrap and put into fridge for 1 hour.
Remove solid metal tray from machine, Cover with aluminum foil sprayed with non stick spray or place a piece of parchment paper on top but do not allow it to have excess that may touch heat source inside of machine, only under cookie dough. Preheat toaster oven to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Remove and pour powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Use a small cookie scoop to scoop up a ball of dough, roll in your hands and then into powdered sugar to coat.
Set cookies on toaster oven tray with space in between them, typically fits 3 small balls at a time.
Set tray into machine on lowest rack and "bake" for 6-10 minutes rotating the tray around halfway thru the timing, or until the edges crack and middle no longer looks wet. Longer for crunchier, less for chewy. Larger will take longer, smaller won't take much time.
Remove the tray and set on a cooling rack for 5 minutes before removing and enjoying.
