Pigs in a blanket in the oven - Preheat oven to 450 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper. Open hot dogs and set on paper towels to absorb moisture on the outsides. Open tube of crescent rolls and roll out flat. Push the perforations together so you have a solid piece of refrigerated dough.
Use a pizza cutter to slice lengthwise into 6 equal pieces. Hold one hot dog by the end with one end of the dough. Twist all the way to the top wrapping the wiener all the way up with your dough until covered. Do this for each one and set on baking sheet paper.
Optionally you can whisk egg in a bowl and brush each one to make a deeper golden brown with a bit more crunch, I like to sprinkle sea salt on top of that when I do to make more of a pretzel type of wrap. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until outsides are a golden brown.
Air fryer pigs in a blanket - Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees. Prepare dogs the same way as above. Spray basket with non stick spray and air fry for 3 minutes, then leave in the basket for 3 more minutes to continue warming the inside. Enjoy.
