Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish. Set aside. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and 1 cup of your sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Melt butter fully in microwave. Add melted butter and milk to mixing bowl and mix until very well combined. Pour batter into greased baking dish and smooth out evenly with a spatula.
Peel and slice peaches, and arrange evenly on top of batter. Sprinkle remaining cup of sugar over the entire top.
Pour 1 cup of water over the top. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until top is golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
