Microwave eggs in a shell - Add about 3/4 full of water into a mug. (Enough water that would cover an egg, but do not put the egg in at first). Microwave water for 1 minute. Stir in ½ tsp salt to the water.
Gently add egg inside. Microwave for 4 minutes, then let it rest for 1 minute. Microwave for another 4 minutes, then carefully remove egg and place in a bowl filled with cold water and ice for 5 minutes. Gently hit shell all the way around in sink and the shell should easily peel off so you can eat insides.
Microwave egg in a mug no shell - Spray the inside of a mug or cup with nonstick spray. Add a dash of salt to the cup. (This will help the egg cook evenly). Crack the egg into your cup and microwave for 30 seconds.
Let sit for 1 minute, then cook for another 10-15 seconds until hard boiled. Remove and let sit for a minute or two before enjoying.
