Pour uncooked Jasmine white rice into pot with water. Pick up pot and swirl contents around so water gets cloudy. (if you choose to rinse rice beforehand you can skip the swirl step)
Close and lock lid and steam valve. Set to high pressure for 6 minutes. DO NOT release the pressure when done, instead let it sit for a 8 minute natural release when done.
Then let rest of pressure out and lift lid. Fluff rice and serve immediately for best results.
