Ingredients
1canrefried beans
1/4-1/2cmilkwater or half milk, half water
1/4tspchili powderor finely diced jalapenos depending on how spicy you want it to be
In a pot over medium high heat add 1/4 cup of milk or water and allow to start to bubble, then add beans from the can and stir until smooth and thinner. Adjust liquid to your liking adding more until it is the perfect consistency for you.
Turn heat down to low once beans consistently bubble. Stir in some chili powder and/or diced jalapenos to add a bit of heat. Add a pinch of salt, mix to integrate. Taste, add more if desired.
Once seasoned to your liking turn off the heat and serve with cheese, crumbled feta cheese, diced green onions and/or a squeeze of fresh lime juice on the top.
