Take a plate with a large diameter. Place burrata cheese in the center. Wash the tomatoes and cut into thin slices. Cut cherry tomatoes into halves.
Place the tomatoes around the burrata in random order. Add fresh basil leaves. Other fresh herbs can also be used, however, basil is traditionally used for caprese.
Mix olive oil, balsamic and salt in a bowl. Drizzle dressing over salad and sprinkle with pepper to taste. The salad is ready to serve immediately.
