Ground Chicken on the Stove Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add a small amount of oil or cooking spray to the pan. Add the seasoned ground chicken to the pan, breaking it up with a spatula or spoon to ensure even cooking. Cook the ground chicken, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and cooked through, typically for about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to cook the ground chicken to an internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C as measured with a food thermometer.
Ground Chicken in the Oven Preheat your oven to 375°F or 190°C. Place the seasoned ground chicken in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it out evenly to ensure even cooking. Bake the ground chicken in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until it is cooked through and no longer pink. Again, make sure to check the internal temperature with a food thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
How to Cook Ground Chicken on the Grill Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Form the seasoned ground chicken into patties or kebabs if desired. Grill the ground chicken patties or kebabs for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C as measured with a food thermometer.
Ground Chicken in Air Fryer Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees F for 5 minutes. Break up and lay in air fryer basket without overlapping. Close basket and keep at 380 degrees for a total of 4 minutes breaking meat up again after 2 minutes. Check to ensure there is no more pink left and is at 165 F to be done. Lift out basket, drain grease in bottom drawer and use.
