Instant Pot Orzo - combine 1 cup orzo + 1 3/4 cup liquid of choice + 1 tsp olive oil so it doesn't stick together. Stir to combine (with any seasonings you would like), close lid and steam valve and set to 4 minutes at high pressure. When done immediately do a quick release of steam. Lift lid and fluff, serve immediately.
Orzo on Stove - Bring 2 cups of water + 1 tsp olive oil with a pinch of salt to a boil over medium high heat. Pour in orzo. Lower heat to medium, stir intermittently for about 8-10 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, fluff and serve.
How to Cook Orzo in Rice Cooker - combine 1 cup orzo with 2 cups liquid of your choice, stir. Close lid and press button for white rice. When timing is up, lift lid immediately, fluff and serve.
Cooking Orzo in Microwave - Place the orzo and water (or chicken broth) in a large microwave-safe bowl. Large enough to accommodate the expansion as it cooks. Cover the bowl with a safe lid or plastic wrap, leaving a small vent for steam to escape. Microwave on high for 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway thru, or until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
