Equipment
1 pressure cooker
Ingredients
1rackribs we prefer pork, they come out the tenderest, 1.8 lbs. were cooked
1bottle barbecue sauce20 oz, do not choose honey style, it will cause to possibly burn
1cwater
Instructions
Cut your rack of ribs into smaller pieces, I cut into pcs. with 4 ribs in each section.
Pour 1/2 c. water into your Crock Pot Express pressure cooker, followed by 1/2 your bottle of barbecue sauce.
Put your rib pcs. inside facing upward so ribs aren't laying flat on the bottom and cause to overheat and trigger a E6 code that means it is overheating. (if it does I'll tell you below what to do..no worries)
Pour the rest of your barbecue sauce on top of your ribs.
Add 1/2 c. water into your bbq sauce bottle, put cap on and shake to loosen remaining sauce, pour this on top of your ribs too so they are nice and coated.
Close your lid and steam valve.
Set your pot to the meat setting, high, for 25 minutes. (if doubling this recipe I would set for 40 min for ultra fall off the bone ribs)
Do a natural release for 5 mintues, then release rest of your steam after that.
You can serve immediately or put in oven or convection oven on broiler setting 350 degrees for about 4-5 min. to gently brown the tops.
