Cherry Cobbler with Cake Mix

Cherry cobbler with cake mix is an easy dessert you can throw together in minutes. Using pie filling and your favorite boxed mix.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix
  • 2 cans pie filling 21 oz each, cherry
  • 1.5 sticks butter melted
  • 1/2 c oats optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, stir together cake mix and oats. Add melted butter and mix until you have a crumbly texture.
  • Spread the cherry pie topping evenly in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Top with the cake mixture. (I used my hands to crumble it over top).
  • Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.  Top with ice cream or whipped cream
