Use cold butter, grate with grater. In a bowl mix dry ingredients together, add shreds of cold butter and use a pastry cutter to incorporate into a crumbly mixture.
Pour in milk and mix just until incorporated, no longer. Pull apart enough to make a small ball of dough, roll lightly in palms.
Heat a pot of oil, just enough for them to submerge. When it reaches 350 degrees gently add a few and fry until the outside is golden brown and insides are no longer sticky.
Remove with slotted spoon and set on a few paper towels set on a plate to absorb excess oil.
Pour powdered sugar in one shallow dish and cinnamon and sugar in another. While warm roll each one in both to coat to make sweet and enjoy warm.
