We love repurposing things, especially items my kids have outgrown but they are still nice and “surely they could still be used for something!” One of the items we repurposed at home was an old bookshelf that was a bit too small for the now chapter books they are reading, but perfect for art storage in their homework/art table area!
The drawers on the bottom are perfect for crayons, scissors and other artsy and homework items and can be pulled out entirely to be used and then stored below again.
The next was a train table that they had far outgrown yet was in great shape, just too short to stand next to and use well. I found these great little stools at Walmart that even have storage underneath (always need that) to use on either side. They love using it as a Lego table, to sit and use iPads or Barbie time!
I hope you enjoyed our ideas for repurposing things especially for kids!
